Kristy Patrick

Kristy serves as the children's ministy director at Community of Grace. She was born and raised in Buffalo, New York. After spending her entire life in Buffalo, Kristy married her husband Joel and a week after our wedding, headed to Denver, Colorado.

"We left all our comforts and certainties behind for the uncertainty of the story God was writing. It was in Denver, amongst the trials we faced that I grew to know God more. It was there that my faith grew exponentially. In the midst of the struggle we had our daughter Ellisyn. We wanted to raise Ellisyn around family. So, in spite of more uncertainty, and only because of how my faith had grown, we decided to come back home to Buffalo.

For the past 15 years, I have been blessed to use the gifts God has given me to help children learn the skills they needed to make it in this life. I have had the opportunity to lead groups of professionals in reaching common goals. Now, I am excited to use these same talents to serve the Lord as a leader over the children's ministry.

My desire is that each child will have repeated opportunities to hear the life changing message of the gospel. That they might come to know the amazing love of God in his/her life.  In partnership with their parents, I want to help the children of Community of Grace, and beyond, find a firm foundation for their lives in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

When I am not teaching you can find me spending time with my family, swimming, cooking, and being outside walking our dog while enjoying God’s creation."
